Incorporated in 1978, boxFPCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the park for residents and visitors. Help us continue to protect and keep the park beautiful by becoming a member! Contributions are tax deductible.

The FPCA BOD has issued a position statement concerning the off-leash dog area within Founders Park, as follows:

Founders Park Community Association supports the current the off-leash dog area in Founders Park per the City of Alexandria’s existing dog park plan. The FPCA Board works closely with the FoundersDogPark organization (www.foundersdogpark.com) to support the off leash area of Founders Park, to optimize conditions in the park, and to pursue joint ventures to promote, maintain and enhance the overall beauty, cleanliness and utility of the park. FPCA remains open to new ideas to enhance the conditions, usefulness, and safety of the off-leash area.
